Abstract
El concepto de cuerpo y de la danza se ha establecido como clave en las humanidades y ciencias sociales como campo de estudio heterogéneo, porque implica considerar la confluencia de la percepción corporal transmitida del pasado y la articulación con la reflexión teórica contemporánea. Para ejemplificar esta relación, en este artículo realizamos algunas reflexiones teóricas transdisciplinares desde la antropología, la historia del arte, la lingüística, la autoetnografía y la historia social, sobre el cuerpo y la danza en la modernidad occidental; y las aplicamos a una amplia muestra de documentos históricos originales, elaborada a partir de las disposiciones locales del cabildo de una pequeña ciudad del Tucumán en los siglos XVIII-XIX. Con el objetivo de precisar nuevas fuentes y desarrollar interpretaciones sobre el baile y el cuerpo en un espacio y periodo aun no considerado por los estudios regionales de la Argentina.The authors must accept the following terms:
